Inspired by her Mother’s legacy, a sewing machine on her eighth birthday, Katie Pye has explored almost all facets of artistic discipline since completing a Diploma of Fine Art early in her career. As an artist, Katie has found tremendous success in whatever medium she turns her hand to, with her work represented in public and private collections throughout Australia.
Katie has combined her passions for art and textiles, creating a range of clothing desired by boutiques around Australia. Her labels Katie Pye and her limited edition range The Intimate Architecture of Clothing are now being recognised internationally as synonymous with some of the world’s leading designs.
